Deleting your data
Last updated 1 August 2026 · Invite-gated beta
There are four ways to remove data from Unadmin, depending on how much you want gone. All of them are available to you directly — you never have to ask our permission. If you would rather we did it for you, the last section tells you how to ask, and we are required to act on that request.
1. Disconnect a single source
In your workspace, go to Settings → Connections, find the source and choose Disconnect. We stop syncing immediately and delete the stored access tokens for that connection from our secret vault. Disconnecting stops any further access, but it does not by itself remove records already pulled into your workspace — use section 2 or 4 for that.
2. Delete your workspace
Deleting the workspace removes the business profile, connected-source records, drafts, and approval history it contains. Ask us from Settings → Connections or by email and we will confirm before anything is destroyed, because this cannot be undone. Personal data is deleted or de-identified within 30 days, except where a longer period is required for legal or accounting reasons — principally invoice records we must keep under UK tax law.
3. Remove Unadmin from Facebook or Instagram
If you connected a Facebook Page, Instagram account, or Messenger inbox, you can revoke our access from Meta's side without involving us at all:
- Go to Facebook Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites, or open facebook.com/settings?tab=applications.
- Find Unadmin in the list of apps you have logged into.
- Choose Remove. Confirm the removal when Facebook asks.
Removing the app revokes every permission you granted us, so we can no longer read or post anything on your Page, Instagram account, or Messenger inbox. To also delete the Meta data we already hold — Page and Instagram profile details, message threads, comments, and engagement figures we used to prepare drafts — email us as described below, or disconnect Meta in Settings → Connections, which deletes the stored tokens straight away.
4. Ask us to erase everything
Email hello@unadmin.co.uk from the address on your account with the subject Data deletion request. Tell us whether you want a single connected source removed or the whole workspace. We will confirm your identity, act on the request, and write back to confirm what was deleted. Under UK GDPR we respond within one month.
You can also ask for a copy of your data before it goes, and you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you are not satisfied with how we handled your request.
What we keep, and why
After deletion we retain only what the law requires: billing and invoice records for the period set by UK tax law, and security logs needed to investigate abuse. These contain account-level facts, not your customer content — we do not write customer content into our logs. Nothing retained is used to run the product, and none of it is ever used to train general-purpose AI models.
